Alas, it can be quite difficult to distinguish “fired” vodka from normal vodka. However, there are certain ways to make the right choice of this alcoholic drink.
Buy vodka in trusted locations
Buy vodka from good stores. In large supermarkets, hypermarkets, specialty or company stores, it is almost impossible to buy a fake. But in tents near the metro, dubious eateries, basement shops and spontaneously emerging markets, the probability of buying a counterfeit is quite high. Choose well-known brands and brands, such vodka is more expensive, but the chance to buy a fake is significantly lower. When buying vodka from trusted, correct stores, carefully study the bottle label.
Pay attention to excise stamps. In 2014, vodka bottles must have blue excise stamps, which indicate the container capacity. These brands are applied to drinks with a strength of thirty-eight to fifty-six degrees. But don't rely solely on excise stamps, as they are easy to counterfeit these days. Carefully inspect the container itself, which contains the drink.
Pay attention to containers and labels
Many manufacturing companies use special branded bottles for bottling vodka. These bottles have a characteristic color and shape, moreover, their bottoms are usually engraved with batch numbers and the date of production of the drink. Counterfeiting such bottles requires serious financial investments, which is completely unprofitable for counterfeit manufacturers. So, in most cases, counterfeit vodka "hides" in the simplest and most unremarkable bottles. To protect yourself from counterfeiting, it is enough to choose vodka in a branded container, checking for engraving on the bottom.
Examine the label and cap, they must be branded. Deformation of the cap or plug may indicate a counterfeit. In addition, if the cap rolls freely around the neck or does not separate from the thin metal extension, this is most likely also a sign of a fake. The label must be glued evenly and smoothly, there must be no air bubbles or glue drops under its surface. The adhesive is applied in a thin layer over the entire surface of the label.
Be sure to check the date of manufacture, it is indicated on each bottle. Rub the date with your finger, if it is not erased or blurred, then the inscription was applied by a laser printer, which indicates that the vodka is real. If the inscription "floated", it was made by an ordinary printer, and this indicates a fake.
