In hot weather, it is very often thirsty. And the more we drink, the more we want. Most often, we prefer lemonade to quench our thirst. This soda-like orange or lemon drink can be made at home.
It is necessary
- - 3 liters of water;
- - 4 oranges (if desired, you can replace oranges with 3 lemons, but 400 grams of sugar will be required);
- - 300 grams of sugar;
- - ground cinnamon on the tip of a knife.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel off oranges or lemons, remove streaks and squeeze out the juice. Grind the pomace, fill with water. Add sugar, zest, cinnamon, bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Cool the broth, strain it and pour in the juice.
Step 2
Keep the resulting drink in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Homemade lemonade can be drunk chilled or siphoned to create sparkling fruit water.
Step 3
Or you can take the same rate of food per 2 liters of water. And dilute the ready-made drink right before drinking with a highly carbonated mineral water.
Since in the heat the body loses not only moisture, but also mineral salts coming out with sweat, lemonade with mineral water will be the most useful.
