Step 1
Use a special container called a cezva or turka to brew Turkish coffee.
Step 2
Find out how many people you need to make coffee. In the homeland of coffee, in Turkey, Turks are sold in different sizes - depending on the number of people. You can, of course, try to brew coffee for two in a turk for four, but the taste will be different.
Step 3
For one serving of coffee, take one teaspoon of the ground coffee as thoroughly as possible. If you prefer sweet coffee, add one or half teaspoon of sugar to taste.
Step 4
Pour one coffee cup of water into the coffee turk. Put on the slowest heat. Remove from heat immediately as soon as the foam appears and begins to rise.
Step 5
Be sure to remove the foam with a spoon and put it in a cup of coffee.
Step 6
Put Turku on fire again. As soon as you feel that the coffee is about to boil, immediately remove the coffee from the stove. Pour coffee into a cup and drink with pleasure.
Step 7
If desired, spices can be added to the coffee, but not very much and finely ground at the very beginning of brewing.
