Brewing coffee in cezve is one of the oldest methods of making coffee, which still has many admirers. Traditionally, coffee made in cezve has a rich taste and aroma. The advantage of this drink also lies in the fact that when the ready-made coffee is poured into cups, the grounds are not filtered, and the drink retains all the beneficial substances contained in coffee beans.

It is necessary

    • cezve
    • finely ground coffee
    • water
    • spice.

Instructions

Step 1

First, you need to get the right kind of cezar and the right kind of coffee to brew in it. Please note that at the bottom of the turk there should be a number indicating the number of cups that can be brewed in this cezve. If you are going to make coffee only for yourself, do not take a big Turk. You should choose finely ground coffee for brewing.

Step 2

Now you can start directly preparing coffee. Heat your turk on low heat. Pour one teaspoon per cup of coffee into the cezve, add spices to taste. You should not put more than three types of spices in coffee, because they should emphasize the taste of the drink, and not be its basis. You can add cinnamon, vanilla, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg to coffee. Instead of sugar, you can add a spoonful of honey to the drink.

Step 3

Pour water into cezve and simmer. For this, it is best to take well or filtered water. Never prepare coffee with boiled, hot water, or tap water. Water must be poured up to the "neck" of the cezve, that is, to the narrowest point. Due to this, the coffee comes into contact with the air least of all, and the taste of the drink comes out brighter and richer.

Step 4

During the brewing process, a light foam is formed on the coffee. From time to time you need to remove it and put it in the cups in which you are going to serve coffee.

Step 5

The coffee should never be brought to a boil. Before boiling, it will begin to rise in a cezve. You need to have time at this moment to remove the cezve from the stove and carefully pour the drink into the cups. As a result, you should have a delicious aromatic coffee with a dense foam. If you like coffee with milk, then the milk should be poured into the cup at the very beginning, before you remove the froth.
