Grocery list

- potatoes - 1 kg;

- "Domashny" minced meat (pork and beef) - 0.5 kg;

- onions - 3 pcs.;

- carrots - 1 pc.;

- garlic - 2-3 cloves;

- tomato paste - 1 tbsp. l. (optional);

- ground black pepper;

- salt;

- sunflower oil for frying;

- fresh dill;

- multicooker.

Cooking recipe

To cook potatoes with minced meat in a slow cooker, you first need to do vegetables. Peel the onions and carrots and remove the husks from the garlic cloves. Chop the onion into small cubes, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Crush the garlic through a press (you can also chop it with a knife or fine grater).

Pour some sunflower oil into the multicooker bowl and set the "Fry" mode to 20 minutes. As soon as the multicooker signals that the oil has warmed up enough, transfer the onion to the bowl and fry it until golden brown. At the same time, you do not need to close the lid of the multicooker. If your appliance does not have the "Fry" mode, you can sauté the onions in the "Bake" mode with the lid closed. In any case, with such heat treatment, vegetables will retain almost all of their beneficial properties.

When the onion is ready, add the carrots to it and fry for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. When the time is up, as an option, you can add a little tomato paste to the onion-carrot fry - it will give the dish a richer and brighter taste. After frying the pasta with the vegetables, add the minced meat and fry it until it brightens and is saturated with the roasted flavor.

Meanwhile, while the minced meat is fried, peel the potatoes, rinse them thoroughly under running water and pat dry with paper towels. Then chop the potatoes into small pieces: if the tubers are large, divide them into 8-10 parts, if small, then into 4-6. Then transfer the chopped potatoes to the minced meat with vegetables, add the chopped garlic and mix everything together well.

The final stage

To speed up the cooking process, do not salt the dish at this stage. Add a little water (about 1 cup) to the potatoes and minced meat in the bowl, and then close the lid of the multicooker and set the "Stew" mode for 40 minutes. Stir the dish 2-3 times during cooking and add salt and black pepper to taste 10 minutes before the end of the program.

When the allotted time comes to an end, check the potatoes for readiness - if they become soft, the bowl of food can be removed from the multicooker. If not, add another 10-15 minutes.

Divide the finished potatoes with minced meat in portions and sprinkle with fresh finely chopped dill (it can be replaced with any other greens - cilantro, parsley or green onions). Serve with pickles or fresh tomato and cucumber vegetable salad.

This simple and easy-to-prepare dish will surely come to the aid of people who are busy at work or those who do not have the opportunity to spend a lot of time in the kitchen in the evenings.
