Mannik is a very tasty and simple cake. Many families love to bake it. And all because the simplest ingredients are needed to prepare it. There are several recipes for manna, and one of them is based on kefir. As a rule, such a product is baked in the oven. But if you have a multicooker in your kitchen, then the process becomes even easier.

Ingredient List

  • semolina - 160 g;
  • flour - 130 g;
  • kefir of any fat content - 200 ml;
  • chicken eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • sugar - 180 g;
  • butter - 50 g;
  • soda - 1 tsp. or baking powder - 1 tbsp. l.;
  • icing sugar - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • vanilla sugar - 1 sachet;
  • mixer;
  • multicooker.

Dough recipe

First of all, you need to prepare the basis for the test. Take a deep bowl and pour kefir into it. Better if it is at room temperature. If it was in the refrigerator, remove it half an hour before cooking. Add semolina to it, mix it with kefir and leave for 20-30 minutes so that the semolina can swell well.

When the time is up, melt the butter in the microwave or water bath. Combine chicken eggs with granulated sugar and vanilla sugar. Whisk everything together with a mixer until a white, airy mass is formed. Beat for at least 7-10 minutes at maximum speed. After that, add melted butter to the sugar and egg mass and mix.

By this time, the semolina should already be swollen enough. Add baking soda (or baking powder) to it, stir, and then transfer it to beaten eggs with sugar and stir gently with a spoon or spatula to maintain all the airiness. Finally, add flour to the dough, adding it in portions, and bring the dough to a smooth state. Stir until no flour lumps remain. It is strictly not recommended to use the mixer at this stage - we interfere exclusively by hand.

How to bake a manna in a multicooker

When the dough is ready, grease the multicooker bowl with a piece of butter. Then transfer the dough into it, place in a multicooker and set the "Baking" mode to 60 minutes. If your kitchen appliance is not powerful enough, it may take a little longer, ranging from 10 to 20 minutes. When the allotted hour comes to an end, and the multicooker signals the end of the program, open the lid of the multicooker and check the readiness of the cake. Add more minutes if necessary.

Remove the finished manna from the multicooker and, after it cools down a little, decorate it to your liking - powdered sugar, melted chocolate or sour cream. You can also sprinkle it with hot honey or soak it with fruit syrup.

This delicious, light and incredibly fragrant dessert will certainly come in handy during your homemade tea. Both children and adults will be delighted with him.
