The cake recipe, which I want to share with readers, was invented not so long ago. And it is called "Cherry Joy". The cake turns out to be beautiful and tasty and can be a decoration for both ordinary and any festive table.

It is necessary

  • For the test:
  • - 6 eggs,
  • - 100 g of sugar,
  • - 1 bag of vanilla sugar,
  • - 100 g of dark chocolate,
  • - 150 g flour,
  • - a pinch of salt.
  • For syrup:
  • - sugar and water in a 1: 1 ratio,
  • - 2 tbsp. l. cherry liqueur.
  • For the cream:
  • - 350 g heavy cream,
  • - icing sugar to taste,
  • - 2 tbsp. l. cherry liqueur,
  • - frozen cherries.
  • For decoration:
  • - frozen cherries,
  • - candied fruits,
  • - coconut flakes of different colors.

Instructions

Step 1

Cooking the dough. You need to separate the yolks from the whites. Now beat the yolks. Add vanilla and regular sugar to the mass. Sift the flour through a sieve. Add to the yolks and mix carefully. Melt the chocolate and add it to the dough, stir. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until a firm foam and, stirring gently, add them to the main dough. Bake 3 cakes in an oven preheated to 180 ° C.

Step 2

Syrup: mix sugar and water and bring to a boil, constantly skimming off the foam. Cook the resulting mixture for 15 minutes, cool and add the cherry liqueur.

Step 3

Cream: cream, icing sugar and cherry liqueur, beat until firm. Defrost the cherries. Put some of the cream and one third of the cherry on the first cake. Cover with a second crust and repeat. Next, lay out the third cake, cover the sides and top with cream.

Step 4

Decorate the cake with cream using a pastry syringe (if there is no syringe, you can use a milk sachet, after cutting off the corners), candied fruits, coconut flakes of different colors and cherries. Refrigerate for soaking for at least 2 hours.
