Autumn varieties of apples
Autumn apple varieties ripen in late August - early September. Most fall varieties have medium-sized fruits with a sweet taste and bright color.
Antonovka is a very popular apple variety, known in Russia since time immemorial. Especially appreciated by gardeners, because even young apple trees are frost-hardy and not susceptible to disease. Rounded fruits have a strong characteristic aroma and sweet-sourish taste, yellowish pulp is juicy and crunchy. The shiny skin of the fruit is greenish-yellow; during storage, it acquires a straw-yellow color.
Aport is also an old universal variety, apples are very large, round or conical in shape. The main color is greenish-yellow, when ripe it becomes yellow. Has a deep red blush. The fruits are fragrant, juicy, with a sweet taste. The skin is thin and shiny, as if with a wax coating. Apples hardly darken and are suitable for drying.
Autumn striped - apples of this variety have a beautiful appearance, sweet and sour taste and juicy pulp. These apples have high disease resistance and excellent transportability.

Winter varieties of apples
The harvest of winter varieties of apples is harvested in late September - early October. Fruits of winter varieties are larger in size, have a dense texture and firm skin. The advantages of winter apples include high transportability and keeping quality. Apples can be stored for up to 8 months.
Bogatyr is a very popular winter variety. It has fragrant large fruits, reaching 350 g. Apples are sweet and sour, light yellow in color with a blush. The pulp is white, firm and crispy.
Pepin saffron has medium-sized oval fruits. The apples are orange-yellow with dark red stripes. The pulp is creamy yellow, sweet and sour taste.
Gold has fruits of medium size up to 130 g, oval-conical in shape. The color is greenish-yellow with a dull blush. The pulp is light green, dense, juicy, with a sweet and sour specific taste and aroma.
