An apple is not only delicious, but also very healthy. Let's see if an apple is included in the diet of athletes, incl. in the process of drying the body. Can you eat this fruit before bedtime when the body is in the mood for rest?
Drying the body is a term that means a number of activities (a special set of training, proper nutrition, etc.) used by beginners and professional athletes in order to reduce body fat mass and increase muscle mass. Sometimes drying is also useful for medical reasons, for example, for people who are overweight, leading to heart and vascular diseases.
Diet while drying the body
The main principle of the diet during body drying is to reduce the calorie content of food consumed during the day. Products with a high glycemic index (sugar, chips, confectionery), fast carbohydrates (flour products, confectionery delights, drinks with gases, ketchup and mayonnaise, some fruits), fats (some types of meat and dairy products, pork fat) are completely excluded from the diet. (lard), oils and margarines, halva, chocolate, etc.).
To replace the "wrong" foods, foods are introduced into the diet that help to reduce adipose tissue and reduce appetite. Without fail, the diet contains vegetables and fruits, the use of which is considered permissible: zucchini, cauliflower, pumpkin, mushrooms, cucumbers and tomatoes, asparagus, spinach, broccoli, all types of greens and celery. The main types of fruits in the drying process include: strawberries, apricots, avocados, citrus fruits (oranges, red grapefruit), watermelons and melons, some varieties of apples.
Are apples appropriate for body drying?
Yes, they are, but not all.
Since in the process of drying the body, fruits with a high sugar content are excluded from the diet, apples should also be sour or sweet and sour. You can eat apples during breakfast, instead of dinner, or immediately after a workout. Apples in moderation can be added to cereals, yoghurts, mashed with the addition of other permitted types of fruits.
Having imagination, you can diversify your menu even with a limited choice of products. So, a wonderful, low-calorie, and most importantly, tasty product is a baked apple. Without sugar, sprinkled with cinnamon and with one drop of honey, an apple baked in the oven will become much tastier and healthier. Or you can make a vitamin cocktail - an apple, kiwi, carrot and celery smoothie. There are many options for using a sweet and sour apple on the menu when drying the body. Your imagination will only help!
Apple for the night
To suppress catabolism (the breakdown of muscle protein into amino acids), some athletes, waking up at night, consume protein shakes, thereby preventing muscle breakdown during sleep. The fructose content in apples makes them undesirable to eat at night or before bedtime, when the body is at rest and converts carbohydrates unused during the day into fats.
