    • 10-20 Jumbo raisins;
    • 50 g of dark chocolate.

Step 1

Candy from a mixture of dried fruits Wash dried apricots in running water, carefully remove pebbles, sand, dirt, do the same with raisins and prunes, remove seeds, if any. Pour the dried apricots with warm boiled water and leave them to swell until they become soft.

Step 2

Evaluate the dryness of prunes and raisins - hard dried fruits also need to be soaked in warm boiled water for 15 minutes. Pour boiling water over the almonds and remove the skins from the nuts. Peel the walnuts thoroughly, remove the hard overlaps between the two halves of the kernel, also scald with boiling water and, where possible, peel off a thin skin.

Drain water from dried fruits, dry them with paper towels: water should not drip. Wash the lemon, cut half into thin rings, remove the seeds. Combine almonds with dried apricots, raisins and prunes, add lemon rings, scroll the mixture through a meat grinder. Finely chop the walnuts with a knife.

Step 4

Separate half of the chopped nuts, add to the mixture of dried fruits and almonds, mix thoroughly, add cognac. Pour honey into the mixture in a thin stream, stirring constantly. Watch the consistency of the mixture, you may need less honey than indicated in the recipe.

Scoop up the nut-fruit mass with a tablespoon, roll it into a ball, roll in the rest of the chopped nuts, put on tracing paper or parchment for baking. Make balls from the whole mass, put the candies in the refrigerator until it's time to eat them.

Chocolate-covered dried apricots rinse the dried apricots with cold water, dry them, the dried apricots should not get wet.
