Delicious and tender catfish meat contains many substances useful for the human body. First of all, these are vitamins, protein and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Thanks to them, the work of the cardiovascular system is stabilized, the concentration of cholesterol in the blood decreases, and the activity of the brain improves. It is recommended to include catfish meat in the diet of children and pregnant women. It is low in calories and can be used in dietetic food.

Polish catfish

To cook Polish catfish in a multicooker, you will need:

- 600 g of catfish;

- 1 onion;

- 1 carrot;

- 4 eggs;

- 3 laurel eggs;

- 5-6 peas of black pepper;

- 120 g butter;

- 4-5 sprigs of parsley;

- ¼ lemon;

- salt.

Rinse the catfish, dry and cut into portions. Peel the onions and carrots, wash and chop coarsely. Hard boil the egg, cool and peel.

Place the carrots, onions, bay leaves and peppercorns in the removable multicooker bowl. Fill everything with water and add salt. Cook vegetables on the "Braise" mode for 15 minutes.

After this time, put the pieces of catfish in the cooked broth and cook in the same mode for another 15 minutes. Then transfer the boiled fish to a bowl and pour some of the broth into a separate bowl. The rest of the broth will not be useful.

Prepare the sauce from the broth. To do this, melt butter in a ladle, add finely chopped eggs, salt and chopped parsley leaves. Then pour in 3-4 tablespoons of fish broth, squeeze juice from a quarter of lemon, season the sauce to taste with salt and mix everything well.

When serving, pour the catfish cooked in a multicooker with hot egg sauce.

Catfish with vegetables and sour cream

To prepare catfish according to this recipe, you need to take:

- 300 g of catfish;

- 1 onion;

- 2 carrots;

- 150 g of sweet peppers of different colors;

- ½ tsp. seasonings for fish;

- 3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;

- 150 g sour cream;

- 30 g pitted olives;

- salt.

Wash the vegetables. Peel the onions and carrots, remove the stalks and seeds from the bell pepper. Then chop the onion into thin half rings, grate the carrots on a coarse grater, and cut the sweet bell pepper into strips. Rinse the catfish under cold water, pat dry with a paper towel and cut into portions.

Pour vegetable oil on the bottom of a removable multicooker bowl, put half rings of onions and half the norm of grated carrots. Place prepared catfish steaks on top. Sprinkle the fish with the leftover carrots and thin strips of bell peppers. Then sprinkle vegetables and catfish with a mixture of salt and seasoning and top with sour cream.

Set the control panel to Bake and the timer to 40 minutes. Then press the "Start" button. Add olives to the bowl 5 minutes before cooking.

Before serving the dish to the table, gently mix all the ingredients and place in portioned plates.
