Thanks to the long stewing, the meat turns out to be soft, and the tomato sauce, combined with oregano and basil, gives the beef a spice.
It is necessary
- Serves 4:
- - 500 g of beef;
- - 100 g of concentrated tomato paste;
- - 1 tomato;
- - 2 tbsp. vegetable oil;
- - 2 onions;
- - 1 tsp basil and oregano;
- - salt pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse and dry the beef with a paper towel, then cut into small pieces and fry in a preheated pan with the addition of 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Step 2
Place the meat in a deep saucepan and add the dried basil and oregano.
Step 3
Dissolve the tomato paste in water in a 1: 1 ratio, add finely chopped peeled tomato. Then pour the sauce over the meat.
Step 4
Peel the onion, rinse and cut into half rings. Fry in a skillet in vegetable oil for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Put the onion on top of the meat and simmer for 2 hours over low heat, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper 30 minutes before cooking.
