Ingredients:

  • Gelatin - 15 g;
  • Powdered sugar - 4 tablespoons;
  • Large eggs - 3 pcs;
  • Heavy cream - 300 g;
  • Whipping cream - 250 g;
  • Ready roll with jam (sold in the store) - 2 pcs;
  • Liquor or rum - 2 tablespoons.

Preparation:

  1. Soak gelatin in cold water for about 10-15 minutes. Then beat the sugar and eggs with a whisk. The mixture should be light and fluffy.
  2. After that, you need to prepare the cream. To do this, bring the cream (300 g) to a boil, stirring constantly. Cool the cream slightly and add the egg mixture. In this case, you need to continuously beat the mixture. Cook the resulting mixture over low heat until it thickens.
  3. Put the saucepan in cold water to cool the mixture, stirring occasionally. Then add liquor or rum to the mixture, of your choice.
  4. Then you need to drain the excess liquid from the gelatin and melt it over low heat. Next, you need to put the gelatin in the prepared creamy egg mixture. The rest of the cream (250 g) must be whipped with a blender and added to the mixture, stirring gently.
  5. Lay out a 1.5 liter plastic form or bowl with foil. Take a ready-made roll, bought in a store, and cut it into equal slices one centimeter thick and place them in a dish lined with plastic. It is important that the slices of the roll are located as tightly as possible to each other.
  6. Then you need to pour the prepared cream onto the slices of the roll. Cover the top of the cake with the slices of the second roll. Put the resulting dish in the refrigerator.
  7. After the cake has cooled, cut off the protruding corners of the filler and transfer it to a serving plate.
