Kozinaki is a delicious oriental sweet made with nuts or seeds and honey as a binder. A very tasty version of this dessert is kozinaki with sesame seeds.
It is necessary
- - 150 gr. cane sugar;
- - 60 ml of honey;
- - a pinch of salt;
- - 15 ml of water;
- - 140 gr. sesame seed;
- - a teaspoon of vanilla extract;
- - 2 teaspoons of butter;
- - a pinch of baking soda.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour sugar into a saucepan, add honey, salt and water.
Step 2
We heat the ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly, so that they turn into syrup.
Step 3
Add sesame seeds. Stir for 5-10 minutes until the mixture becomes a beautiful amber color.
Step 4
Remove the pan from the heat, add the vanilla extract and butter. As soon as the butter melts, add a pinch of baking soda, due to which bubbles will appear in the mixture and the kozinaki will turn out to be more airy.
Step 5
Put a sheet of foil on a baking sheet and lightly grease it with oil. Pour the seed syrup onto the foil and smooth it out.
Step 6
After 15-20 minutes, the mixture will harden and you can break it into identical pieces.
