Beetroot is a very useful product for our body, therefore it is recommended to eat it often. Nobody wants to cook the same dishes from this vegetable, so I suggest you diversify your diet and bake a very tasty cake from beets.

- - cocoa - 75 g;
- - flour - 180 g;
- - baking powder - 10 g;
- - sugar - 250 g;
- - beets - 250 g;
- - eggs - 4 pcs.;
- - olive oil - 200 ml;
- - nutmeg - 2 g;
- - semolina - 1 tablespoon;
- - raisins - 40 g;
- - walnut - 1 handful.
Instructions
Step 1
Taking young beets, rinse them thoroughly, then place them in an enamel bowl with boiling water. The cooking time depends on the size of the vegetable. On average, it should be boiled for 40-60 minutes. Pour the boiled beets with clean cold water and leave in this state for 10 minutes. After this procedure, clean it and grind it with a blender until smooth, that is, puree. Add olive oil to the resulting mass. Mix everything as it should.
Step 2
Mix the wheat flour using a separate, clean dish, along with the semolina. Then add the following ingredients there: ground nutmeg, as well as baking powder and cocoa. Mix the resulting mixture thoroughly.
Step 3
After washing the raisins, let them dry completely. Chop a handful of walnuts. It is most convenient to use a rolling pin for this.
Step 4
Using a mixer, beat, after mixing, granulated sugar along with raw chicken eggs. Add beetroot puree and dry flour mixture and chopped walnuts along with raisins. Mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Step 5
Fill a round baking dish with the resulting beetroot mass. Do not forget to line the walls with parchment paper first. Bake the future pie at 175 degrees for 40 minutes. If during this time the dish is not baked, then cook it a little longer.
Step 6
Carefully remove the pastries from the baking dish, then feel free to treat them to your family and friends. The beet pie is ready!
