  • 250 g of boiled beets;
  • 150 g of canned (fresh) pineapple;
  • 30 g walnuts;
  • Ground black pepper and salt to taste;
  • 1 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
  • Greenery for decoration.

Beetroot salad is prepared like this:

  1. Take the boiled beetroot, remove the peel from it. Cut the peeled root vegetable into medium-sized cubes.
  2. Open a jar of pineapples, drain the syrup, cut the fruit into cubes similar in size to the beets. If fresh pineapple is used to make beetroot salad, peel the fruit and then cut into cubes.
  3. Remove the walnuts from the shell, chop the kernels with a knife.
  4. Combine prepared ingredients: beets, pineapples and nuts in a convenient plate. Stir in salad, season with mayonnaise, add pepper and salt if necessary.
  5. Before serving salad with beets, it is recommended to decorate with finely chopped herbs.

  • 200 g of boiled beets;
  • 100 g of long grain rice (it is recommended to take a mixture of wild and parboiled);
  • 100 g red onions;
  • 50 g raisins;
  • 2 tbsp. l. table vinegar;
  • 1 tbsp. l. honey;
  • 2 tbsp. l. lemon juice;
  • 30 ml of vegetable oil (olive oil is recommended in the original recipe, but this is a matter of taste);
  • Lettuce leaves, herbs;
  • Spices to taste.

Steps for preparing beetroot salad:

  1. Cook the rice until cooked, following the instructions on the package with the product. It is convenient to take rice in bags for preparing salad, but the usual one will do.
  2. Peel the red onion, cut into thin rings and place in a deep bowl.
  3. Prepare the marinade in a separate bowl: combine honey, vinegar, oil and lemon juice. Stir the ingredients, pour the red onion with the resulting marinade. Leave the vegetable to marinate for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Peel the boiled beets. The vegetable can be diced or grated on a coarse shredder. Decide for yourself.
  5. Send the prepared beets to the pickled onions.
  6. Wash the raisins under running water, then pour boiling water over for 5-10 minutes. Drain the liquid from the raisins, send the product to the beets and onions.
  7. Put boiled rice in a salad bowl, stir the dish. Try the appetizer, add salt and pepper if needed.

You can serve salad with beets on a flat dish, which is recommended to be covered with lettuce leaves. Sprinkle the appetizer with chopped herbs on top.
