It is known that fish contains many nutrients necessary for health, for example, fatty acids, phosphorus, iodine, fluoride. At the same time, the richest in nutrients sea fish (salmon) has a high fat content (over 8%). Catfish, sea fish, belongs to the medium fat group (4%). If you grill it, the fat percentage will decrease, and the nutrients will be preserved.

    • 1 chilli pod;
    • 1-2 tbsp. l. olive oil;
    • 1 tsp cumin;
    • 1 tsp salt;
    • 1-2 limes;

    • 50 ml vegetable oil
    • 1 green apple
    • 100 g cheese
    • 50 g bell pepper
    • salt
    • ground white pepper
    • flour.

Instructions

Step 1

Grilled catfish steaks

Wash the tomatoes, unpeeled garlic, onion and chili and cut the onion into quarters. Take a wide frying pan, put it on the fire, put the vegetables on it, pour it with olive oil and fry for 5-8 minutes so that the vegetables are firmly fried outside, if they burn a little, it's not scary.

Step 2

Remove the pan from heat, remove the stalk and seeds from the peppers, peel the garlic, put the vegetables in a blender and chop until smooth, wash and finely chop the cilantro, wash the lime, squeeze the juice (3 tablespoons), add cilantro to the vegetables, salt, cumin and 3 tablespoons of lime juice, stir again until smooth.

Step 3

Cut the fillets into portions, wash the oranges, lime and lemon, cut the lemon in half, squeeze the juice out of them (orange - half, ¾ cup; lime - 1-2 teaspoons; lemon - 1 teaspoon). Pour the lemon, lime and orange juice into the Mexican sauce and mix thoroughly. Cover the catfish fillets with a mixture of Mexican sauce and citrus juices, cover with a bowl or plate and refrigerate for several hours to soak and marinate the fish.

Step 4

Grease the grill rack with oil, remove the fish from the refrigerator, scrape off excess sauce, place the fish skin side down on the grill rack. Cook until fish is slightly tender, then flip over to the other side. Cook until the ridge can be easily removed from the fish, which means the dish is ready. Serve with unused Mexican sauce for the marinade.

Step 5

Wash the catfish, cut into fillets, cut the fillets into portions, salt, pepper, season in flour, heat the oil in a pan and fry the fillets on both sides for 2-4 minutes.

Step 6

Wash the bell pepper, apple, remove the seeds, stalks, core and cut into thin strips, grate the cheese on the largest grater available. Toss the cheese, apple, and pepper in the oil. Put this mixture on the fried fish, grease the baking sheet with oil or cover with baking paper, put the fish under the "fur coat" on the baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 180-200 ° C.
