Many delicious and original dishes can be prepared with shrimp. One of them is shrimp in batter. They are prepared very simply and quickly, an ideal addition to cool beer.
It is necessary
- - 400 grams of shrimp,
- - 300 grams of green onions,
- - 2 eggs,
- - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of wheat flour,
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of cornstarch,
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of dry red wine,
- - salt to taste,
- - ground black pepper to taste,
- - 150 ml of vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash and chop the green onions (you can add some parsley if desired), season with salt and ground black pepper, and set aside for about ten minutes.
Step 2
Crack the eggs gently into a bowl. Add starch and two tablespoons of flour to the eggs, stir until smooth.
Step 3
Boil the shrimps (when cooking, you can add a bay leaf). Place the boiled shrimp on a plate to cool. After the shrimp has cooled, peel them, leaving only the tail shell with the pulp.
Step 4
Mix the shrimps with green onions (parsley, dill, cilantro - to taste, no greens can be added), salt and pepper, add a spoonful of wine. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes. You can add a little more flour if desired for a thicker batter.
Step 5
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the shrimp. The tail should remain outside during frying. Transfer the cooked shrimp to a plate and serve with sauce, fresh herbs, nuts, or as a beer snack.
