Cut the apples into slices and blanch too. Then put apples and berries in the finished syrup, leave for 10 hours. After that, bring the jam to a boil and leave again for ten hours. Then cook the jam on low heat for ten minutes, take a break at 8 hours and cook two more times in the same way. At the very end, add 400 g of sugar.

Red rowan jam should first be cooled, and only then rolled up with sterilized lids.

Red rowan jam with walnuts

For this jam you will need:

- 1 kg of berries;

- 3 glasses of water;

- 3 cups walnuts (coarsely chopped);

- 7.5 glasses of sugar.

Rowan should be washed, dried and slightly crush the berries with a rolling pin. Then pour boiling water over them and leave for fifteen minutes. Boil a not too thick syrup, add berries to it and cook until tender, periodically removing the foam. Add walnuts 10-15 minutes before the end of cooking.

Red rowan jam with honey

500 g of honey.
