The New Year's menu should be varied, therefore, in addition to the usual salads, you can prepare an unusual appetizer - a roll with trout. This appetizer looks festive and tastes just amazing.

Dough:

- half a glass of kefir

- 4 raw eggs

- 5 grams of baking powder

- 2 tablespoons of starch and flour

- salt and pepper

- fresh dill

Filling:

- 10-15 large olives (without seeds)

- 10-11 sheets of processed cheese (e.g. Hochland)

- about 300 grams of lightly salted trout (preferably sliced)

1. To prepare the dough, you need to beat the eggs well, and then add the starch, kefir and flour.

2. Next step: add pepper and salt and chopped dill.

3. Stir the whole mixture well and place on a baking sheet lined with special paper.

4. Put olives cut into circles on top of the dough.

5. Bake the base for the roll for 8-10 minutes at 180 degrees.

6. Put the finished base on a clean towel with the olives facing down.

7. Quickly roll the dough into a roll and leave in this state for 3-5 minutes to cool.

8. Unroll the cooled roll and lay out a layer of processed cheese sheets.

9. Then lay out a layer of trout, sprinkle a little with lemon or tangerine juice.

10. Roll neatly but tightly and put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

The finished roll can be cut with a sharp knife into portions of any thickness. New Year's appetizer with trout is ready!
