Ingredients:

  • greens to taste;
  • bay leaf - 1 pc;
  • peppercorns - to taste;
  • pepper to taste;
  • salt to taste;
  • tomato - 1 pc;
  • bell pepper - 1 pc;
  • onions - 1 pc;
  • carrots - 1 pc;
  • rice - 3 tablespoons;
  • sprat in tomato sauce - 1 can.

Preparation:

  1. Rinse the rice thoroughly. To do this, pour it into a container and fill it with water. Drain the cloudy liquid immediately, repeat the procedure several times until the water is clear. Only after that, the rice can be considered cleaned of all excess.
  2. Pour the rice into a saucepan, pouring water over the top. Cook over medium heat until half cooked. While the rice is cooking, peel the onion and cut into small pieces. Then fry it in a preheated pan until golden brown.
  3. Add finely chopped carrots to the onion and continue to fry. Chop the peppers finely and add to the bulk in the pan. Do not forget to remove the seeds, partitions from the pepper and rinse it in water. Joke for 3 minutes. Add the finely chopped tomato and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Peel potatoes, wash in water and cut into strips. Add it to rice. Add pepper and salt to taste. Next, cook for 15 minutes. Put the cooked roast, peppercorns and bay leaf in a saucepan. Mix everything well.
  5. Now add sprat from a jar to the soup, let the dish boil and immediately remove from heat. Let it sit under the lid for 10 minutes. Ready-made canned sprat soup can be sprinkled with chopped herbs and served on the table, pouring into portioned plates.
