So how do you prepare guacamole? There are many recipes for its preparation. The classic version uses ingredients such as avocado, lime, cilantro, onion, and hot peppers. Guacamole, the recipe for which is given below, is close to the classic, but also contains a tomato.

Guacamole recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 avocados (must be ripe);
  • 1 lime;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 bunch of cilantro;
  • 1 tomato;
  • 1 pod of green hot pepper;
  • salt to taste.

How to cook

  1. Cut the avocados in half (you do not need to peel them), remove the seeds from them and remove the pulp with a spoon. The stone can be removed from the fruit as follows: start cutting the avocado in half from the top, until the knife rests against the stone; then continue to cut the fruit around it. You should have two halves connected by a bone. To disconnect them, rotate one of the halves at an angle of 90 degrees. Remove the bone with a sharp knife.
  2. Roll the lime on the table. This is to make the juice easier to come out.
  3. Squeeze the juice out of the lime and pour it into the avocado pulp. The juice is added so that the sauce does not acquire an unappetizing brown color as a result of the oxidation of the avocado.
  4. Season the avocado pulp and beat with a blender.
  5. Peel the tomato (to make it easier to remove, you need to scald the vegetable with boiling water), cut into cubes, add to the whipped mass.
  6. Chop the cilantro finely and add to the sauce as well.
  7. Finely chop the onion, rinse under running cold water and, when dry, add to the sauce.
  8. Fry green peppers in a pan, remove the skin from it, remove the seeds, cut into cubes and add to the total mass.
  9. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and let the guacamole brew for 30 minutes.
