It is necessary

    • beef liver - 600 grams;
    • onions - 2 pieces;
    • egg - 1 piece;
    • milk - 1 glass;
    • sour cream - 50 grams;
    • sunflower oil - 50 grams;
    • salt;
    • ground pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse fresh liver thoroughly with cold water. If you took the liver out of the freezer, wash it, but do not defrost it completely. This will make it easier to cut. Clear the liver from films. Cut it into slices about 1 cm thick and place in the prepared dish.

Step 2

Break a chicken egg into a glass of milk and stir thoroughly with a fork. Pour the mixture over the chopped liver. Let the liver brew for 1 hour.

Step 3

Peel the onions and cut into half rings. Then fry it in a separate small skillet until golden brown.

Step 4

While the onions are fried, heat the refined sunflower oil in a large skillet. Add the liver that has been soaked in the mixture there, and begin to fry on both sides. Fry over high heat for a very short time, about five minutes, otherwise the liver will become tough. While frying, add a pinch of salt and ground pepper.

Step 5

Put the fried liver pieces in a saucepan in one layer. Spread the sour cream over the first layer and spread out a few sautéed onions evenly. Then add the next layer of liver, sour cream and onions.

Step 6

Pour the milk-egg mixture into a saucepan with the liver, add a little boiled or filtered water so that the sauce covers the liver. Season with salt to taste and simmer over medium heat for five minutes. By following this recipe, you will get a very tasty and soft liver.
