The sweet table is always eagerly awaited by adults and children. But in the summer heat, you don't want to overload the body with too high-calorie cakes. Cool lemon mousse, which is easy enough to prepare, is a real salvation.
It is necessary
- - 5 lemons;
- - 25 g of gelatin;
- - 1 can of condensed milk;
- - 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar;
- - coconut flakes.
Instructions
Step 1
Squeeze the juice out of the lemons using a juicer or by hand and strain it through cheesecloth or a sieve. Set aside the zest to garnish the mousse.
Step 2
Place the gelatin in a bowl and pour over boiling water so that the water completely covers it. Stir until the gelatin dissolves and forms a homogeneous mass. Then pour it into the lemon juice in a trickle. Place the container with the mixture in the refrigerator.
Step 3
Whisk the condensed milk using a mixer. After five minutes, add the icing sugar and beat well again.
Step 4
When the lemon jelly begins to harden and takes shape, add it in small portions to the mixture of condensed milk and powdered sugar. Beat on low speed until the two masses look like a single whole mousse. Arrange the prepared mousse in glasses and chill in the refrigerator.
Step 5
Grate the lemon zest with a fine tooth. Cut the lemon into wedges. The slices should be about 3 mm thick.
Step 6
Before serving the mousse, sprinkle with zest and coconut. Decorate the side of the glass with a prepared lemon wedge.
