Step 1

Pour the milk into a saucepan and put on a low heat, stirring the milk constantly so that it does not burn.

Step 2

Beat the eggs with sour cream using a whisk or mixer, you should get a homogeneous egg and sour cream mixture.

Step 3

Pour the mixture into the milk and, stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Continue stirring until the whey separates. Then remove the pan of milk from the stove.

Step 4

Put cheesecloth in a colander, carefully pour the mixture from the pan into a colander. After straining, cottage cheese will remain in the gauze.

Step 5

Stir the goat curd thoroughly with dry herbs, garlic and salt, then wrap it in cheesecloth again, tie the edges of the cheesecloth in a knot and hang over the sink for 2 hours to remove the remaining whey.

Step 6

After the whey is completely drained, place the cheese wrapped in cheesecloth in a saucepan, cover with a plate and place a jar of water on top. Now the pan of cheese must be refrigerated for 15 hours.
