How to make your own Pesto sauce with the wonderful smell of basil, pine nuts, parmesan and garlic? If you crush these products in a mortar, you get a typically Italian Pesto alla genovese. It is much faster to cook with a blender, chopping the ingredients until you get the consistency you want.

- - sunflower seeds
- - walnuts
- - vegetable oil
- - parmesan

Instructions
Step 1
We mix all the ingredients in a small container. Basil must first be washed and dried. Chop pine nuts, sunflower seeds and walnuts.
Step 2
Mix chopped nuts and chopped greens.
Step 3
Add oil (your choice: rapeseed, sunflower or olive) and mix well.
Grind the mixture in a blender.
Step 4
Grate Parmesan cheese on a fine grater and add to the chopped mixture.
Step 5
Pour the Pesto sauce into glass jars.
Poured with oil on top, the Pesto sauce can stand in the refrigerator for several months without problems.
However, the Pesto sauce is so delicious that you will eat it much faster by adding it to spaghetti and pasta!
