Goulash soup is a popular Hungarian soup that cooks very quickly. The main products are meat, onions, tomatoes, potatoes. Tomatoes give the dish a deep red color, homemade noodles add thickness, and garlic and pepper add spiciness. Transcarpathian beef goulash soup will become a very hearty lunch or dinner.
It is necessary
- - 600 g of beef;
- - 400 g of potatoes;
- - 300 g of onions;
- - 1 tomato, 1 sweet pepper;
- - ready-made noodles;
- - pork broth;
- - pork fat;
- - caraway seeds, garlic, red pepper, salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the onion, chop finely, fry until golden brown. Cut the boneless beef into small pieces.
Step 2
Add ground red pepper and meat to the frying, close the lid, simmer.
Step 3
Rub the peeled garlic on a grater or pass through a press. Mix with caraway seeds, add to meat, add water.
Step 4
Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Top up with water if required. The meat should be stewed, not boiled.
Step 5
Peel the potatoes, cut them into small cubes, send them to the meat, simmer for another 15 minutes.
Step 6
Chop the tomato, cut the bell pepper into strips, add to the meat, pour in the broth, add the noodles, let it boil.
Step 7
Serve the Transcarpathian beef goulash soup hot, seasoned with sour cream or mayonnaise. You can put chopped fresh herbs in each plate.
