- 5-7 g dry yeast;
- 20-30 ml of water;
- 1 tsp salt;
- 2 tbsp Sahara;
- 1 kg of flour.
Instructions
Step 1
To prepare the filling, you will need beef and pork (in a ratio of 70% to 30%), 0.5 kg of onions, spices, salt, and ground pepper. All components must be passed through a meat grinder and mixed well. It is better to do the minced meat yourself, but in the absence of the required products, you can also use the store one, only you will need to add onions, salt and spices to it. To make the filling juicy, put a lot of onions in the minced meat, approximately in a 1: 1 ratio. It is finely chopped or ground in a meat grinder. A little trick: if you want the minced meat to be tender and flavorful, cook it in advance and let it sit for a few hours.
Step 2
The whitewash dough is prepared using yeast (it does not matter, in a sponge or non-steam way). If you use dry yeast, before placing it in the dough, you need to dilute it in a small amount of warm water and let it stand for about five minutes. Put all the ingredients in a wide bowl, add yeast and knead the batter. Leave it in a warm place for an hour, covering the crockery with a clean towel.
Step 3
When the dough rises, you can proceed directly to sculpting the whites. To do this, pour a thick layer of flour on a cutting board, roll the pieces of dough in it. Mash them to form cakes. You need to put minced meat in the center and pinch the edges so that the filling does not fall out. There is another form of whitewash - cheesecake with meat, that is, a hole is made in the center of the top layer of the dough.
Step 4
After you have formed the whites, they need to be allowed to stand warm for about half an hour. Cover them with a clean towel to keep the dough from airing on top.
Step 5
Heat a deep frying pan, pour vegetable oil (preferably odorless) into it to a height of 1 cm. Put the prepared whites into it and fry first on one side, then on the other. Do not heat too much for the dough to cook well. On average, the frying time for each beef is 15 minutes.
