Preparation:

  1. If you purchased freshly frozen minced meat, then it must first be defrosted and it is best to do this at room temperature.
  2. Next, tackle the eggplant. It must be thoroughly rinsed and the stalk cut off. Then the vegetable is cut into circles, the thickness of which should be approximately 0.5 centimeters. Next, sprinkle the eggplant circles with salt and leave so that all the excess juice is released from the vegetable.
  3. You should grease the baking dish with oil. After that, potatoes are laid out on its bottom in an even layer. The tubers should first be peeled, washed and cut into not very thick circles. Don't forget to sprinkle some salt on the potatoes.
  4. Next, you need to peel the onion heads. They must be rinsed with running water, which, moreover, must be cold. The bulbs are cut into rings or half rings with a sharp knife, the thickness of which should not be too large. Chopped onion is placed on top of the potatoes and sprinkled with salt.
  5. The next layer will consist of minced meat. It must be distributed over the shape in an even layer so that it completely covers the potatoes. Next, this layer must be salt and pepper.
  6. The eggplants should be slightly squeezed out, but this should be done carefully so as not to damage them. Then they are placed on top of the minced meat. This vegetable is also salted. Then gently pour clean drinking water along the side of the mold. This is necessary so that the potatoes do not burn at the beginning of baking, since then juice is released from the vegetables and minced meat.
  7. After that, the eggplants are poured abundantly with sour cream. You shouldn't feel sorry for her. The vegetables should be completely covered with it.
  8. Place the baking sheet in an oven heated to 200 degrees. The casserole will be baked there for at least 60 minutes. The dish is ready and ready to be served. By the way, if you have a desire, you can sprinkle it with grated cheese 5 minutes before the end of baking.
