It is necessary

  • - minced meat - about 350 g;
  • - any meat products (sausages, ham, boiled pork or sausage) - about 250 g;
  • - 3 medium-sized pickles;
  • - hot red pepper - a pinch;
  • - salt, bay leaf;
  • - 1 egg;
  • - bread crumbs - about 25 g;
  • - 4 large potatoes;
  • - tomato paste - 10 g.

Instructions

Step 1

Wash and peel the potatoes, cut into any cubes and put in a saucepan with cold water. Place the pot on the fire and cook the potatoes for about 10 minutes, periodically removing the foam.

Step 2

Mix the minced meat with breadcrumbs, a raw egg and salt and pepper. Stir until smooth and form into small round meatballs.

Step 3

Chop the onion and fry until golden brown in vegetable oil. Then add chopped meat products (sausage, ham, sausages) to the onion and brown everything well.

Step 4

Grate pickles or cut into small cubes. Add the cucumbers to the skillet along with the tomato paste. Pepper to taste and simmer for 1-2 minutes, covering the pan with a lid.

Step 5

Dip the minced meatballs into a saucepan with potatoes and as soon as they float to the surface, add the prepared vegetable fry to the pan.

Step 6

Cook everything together for another 10-15 minutes, reduce heat and cover the pan with a lid. Season the dish to taste with salt and red pepper and add bay leaf if desired.

Step 7

Serve the hot hodgepodge with thinly sliced lemon, fresh herbs and olives (capers).
