Unusual and very memorable jalebi delicacy. This sweet is very popular in India.
It is necessary
- - wheat flour - 1, 5 cups;
- - semolina - 2 tsp;
- - kefir or yogurt - 1 tablespoon;
- - drinking water - 2 glasses;
- - brown sugar - 1, 5 cups;
- - lemon - 0.5 pcs.;
- - soda - 1/3 tsp;
- - vegetable oil - for frying.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a deep, comfortable cup. Put semolina, soda and wheat flour into it, mix. Next, add kefir or yogurt to the products. Heat a glass of water until warm, mix with food in a cup.
Cover the resulting dough with a towel and leave warm for 2 hours.
Step 2
Prepare the syrup. Pour a glass of water into a small saucepan and dissolve the sugar in it. Squeeze 1-1.5 teaspoons of juice from half a lemon, mix with food in a saucepan.

Heat the resulting mass over medium heat, cook for 5 minutes. Then cool the syrup.
Step 4
After 2 hours, the dough in the bowl will begin to bubble. Now you can cook jalebi from it. To prepare the spirals, you will need a pastry syringe or food bag.
Step 5
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, there should be enough of it so that the squeezed out dough does not touch the bottom of the skillet.
Step 6
After placing the dough in a bag, cut off a corner. Spiral the dough. Fry each piece on both sides. It is convenient to take out semi-finished products with a slotted spoon.
Step 7
Place the hot spirals on napkins, let the excess fat come off. Next, dip the golden blanks in the chilled syrup, then put on a dish.

As soon as the jalebi is dry, serve the treat to the table.
