An interesting appetizer with a spicy taste will decorate any of your festive table. All lovers of "hotter" will like it, because an appetizer with baked chili is being prepared.
It is necessary
- - 2 chili peppers;
- - 100 g mozzarella;
- - 8 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of balsamic vinegar;
- - zest from 1 lemon;
- - 6 pieces of baguette;
- - 3 cloves of garlic;
- - fresh herbs to choose from.
Instructions
Step 1
Bake 2 chili peppers in the oven until dark. When the peppers are charred on all sides, place them in a bowl, tighten with cling film or put in a food bag and tie tightly. Leave it on for 5-7 minutes.
Step 2
Rinse fresh herbs such as basil and parsley and pat dry on paper towels. Separate the leaves from the stems and place on a plate.
Step 3
Peel the peppers and seeds. Be sure to do this to avoid excessive bitterness in the finished snack. Cut the chili into long, thin strips. If the pepper was very long, then you can also cut the pieces in half. Pour olive oil with balsamic sauce into a bowl, put chunks of pepper in it. The result is a very fragrant oil.
Step 4
Cut the mozzarella into small pieces, place on a plate next to the green leaves, sprinkle with grated lemon zest on top.
Step 5
Fry the pieces of baguette in a dry skillet without adding oil until golden brown. Rub the bread with garlic, pour over the resulting fragrant butter.
Step 6
Place green leaves, mozzarella with grated lemon zest and baked chili on the slices of fried baguette. Crostini with baked chilli and mozzarella are ready - it turned out to be a wonderful appetizer for a feast.
