Fruit jelly contains a lot of pectin, which helps to remove salts of heavy metals from the body. Of course, homemade marmalade has much more useful properties, because it contains no preservatives, dyes and other chemicals. So you can safely cook homemade apple-pear marmalade for yourself and your children.
It is necessary
- - 450 g each apple and pear puree;
- - 300 g of sugar;
- - 50 ml lemon juice;
- - 40 g of sugar mixed with 15 g of pectin.
Instructions
Step 1
Puree from pears and apples is easy to make. Use equal amounts of fruit to make about 450 g each of the finished applesauce and pear puree. Peel the fruit, grate, boil a little (you can do this in the microwave), then punch in a blender until completely homogeneous.
Step 2
Mix both mashed potatoes, add sugar, bring to a boil, stir to dissolve the sugar completely. Reduce heat, add pectin mixed with the specified amount of sugar, stir well, cook for 10 minutes, stirring the mixture with a spatula.
Step 3
Cover a 20x20 cm container with baking paper, pour the fruit mass into it, leave for a day at room temperature. After that, turn over onto clean baking paper, again leave to dry for exactly one day.
Step 4
Cut the finished apple-pear marmalade into pieces or cut out different figures using cookie cutters. Dip in sugar. Store in a cool dry place in a closed container. You can serve homemade dessert for tea or decorate various cakes and pastries with it.
