The original-looking Turtle salad is perfect for children's parties. A fresh and aromatic dish is obtained through a combination of sweet and sour apples, chicken (or fish) and walnuts.

Step 1
Turtle salad Wash the chicken fillet in running water. Put the meat in a saucepan, cover with cold water, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Cool the boiled chicken fillet and cut as small as possible. To add some flavor to your salad, try grilling, smoked, or baked chicken breast.

Peel the onion and chop finely. Pour boiling water over and leave for 8-10 minutes to remove the bitterness from the onion. Then drain the water and rinse the onion in cold water.
Step 3
Boil the eggs. Separate the whites from the yolks. Grate the whites on a fine grater, crush the yolks with a fork into crumbs. Grate sweet and sour apple and cheese. Use hard cheese for this salad. Grind the walnuts in a blender. You can use cashews instead of walnuts.
Step 4
Lay out the Turtle salad in layers immediately on the plate on which you will serve it to the table. Smooth each layer and coat with mayonnaise. Put the whites on the bottom of the dish, add a little salt. Then spread out the chicken fillet. Place the onion and apple on the meat. The next layer is grated cheese and yolks.
