A beautifully decorated dish adorns the festive table, delights guests and makes even familiar food attractive. The art of curly cutting from vegetables and fruits is called carving.
It is necessary

Instructions
Step 1
Cut off the bottom and top of the tomato. Use a thin, sharp knife to cut the skin in a spiral pattern. Roll it up into a flower shape and decorate, for example, with a puff salad on top. Similarly, you can make roses from boiled beets and carrots.
Step 2
Cut off the top of the tomato, cut the core in a circle, leaving about 0.5 cm around the rind. Cut the skin into petals and fold back. The middle of the tomato can be rounded a little.
Step 3
Boil the carrots, peel them. Slice lengthwise into slices about 3 mm thick. Cut each plate into triangles of the same size, in which cut the teeth on one side. Spread out 4 triangles with flower-shaped cloves outward. Put ketchup, mayonnaise or green peas in the middle.
Step 4
Chop large arrows of green onions into pieces of 5 - 7 cm. On one side, make 1 cm long cuts every 2 mm. Dip the onion in cold water for a few minutes. The onion brushes will take on a curved shape. Arrange them in the shape of lanterns.
Step 5
Cut the cucumber into slices full length. Then give each piece a rectangular shape. Cut triangles around the edges of the plate at a slight angle so that you get a herringbone. These figures can be used to decorate a salad or side dish laid out with a slide.
Step 6
Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise. Make thin cuts from top to bottom without cutting to the bottom. Dip the cucumber in salted cold water for a couple of minutes. Pat dry on a napkin. Then bend every second leaf inward and roll the cucumber in a semicircle in the form of a garland.
Step 7
Cut a dense lettuce onion, 0.5 cm short of the bottom. Make 4 cuts, dividing the onion into equal sectors. Then cut each sector into 2 - 3 more pieces. Place in ice water for 30 to 50 minutes. You will get an original chrysanthemum. Dip it in carrot or beetroot juice, if desired, to give the bulb an orange or red color.
