A woman is most often responsible for food in the family. It is she who usually decides what products to buy and what to cook from them. At the same time, she must take into account not only the addictions of her soulmate, but also his state of health and even his figure. If the husband is overweight, the diet should be formed in such a way that the husband does not gain weight from food.
Full breakfast
For those who are overweight and looking to lose weight, it is very important not to skip breakfast. Moreover, the sooner it passes, the better. It is during this meal that one can and should eat terrible and at the same time carbohydrates necessary for a person, because it is thanks to them that energy is generated.
So that the husband does not get fat and at the same time does not feel hungry, it is best to prepare cereals for him for breakfast - oatmeal, rice, buckwheat. But they must be cooked from whole grains, and not boiled with boiling water from a mixture of sachets. You can add fruits or seeds to such a dish. Also, cereals without sugar and all sorts of fillers will be an ideal food for breakfast. But it is advisable to use them with water, juice or low-fat yogurt.
To diversify your morning meal, you can serve dairy products from time to time: cheese, low-fat cottage cheese, yogurt. Several times a week, by the way, there will be boiled or steamed eggs, an omelet. You can also serve them with avocados, some vegetables, for example, cucumbers or tomatoes, because all people have different tastes.
But buns, sandwiches, muffins and other sweets should not be served even for breakfast. Muesli bars should not be consumed either, as they are full of sugar and preservatives.
Nutritious lunch
If your husband is used to liquid meals, it is important not to exclude them from the diet. Just cook soups either in vegetable broth, or in not too concentrated fish or meat. In any case, fried vegetables should be discarded. It is advisable that the soup contains pieces of lean meat (chicken, veal, rabbit) or fish. For liquid dishes, you can serve a crouton or a small piece of black bread.
It's healthy to eat fiber during the day, so you can also make a vegetable salad for lunch, seasoned with low-fat yogurt or olive oil. It can be used as an addition to the first course or as a side dish for meat, fish, if the husband has given up the soup.
It is not recommended to eat dessert immediately after lunch. It is better to eat it in an hour. Any fruit or berries can act as it.
Light dinner
So that the husband does not get better, his dinner should be light, but at the same time sufficiently nutritious. The ideal option is fish or poultry cooked in the oven, grill or double boiler. As a side dish, you can serve quite a bit of rice, baked vegetables, herbs. It is better not to eat fresh cucumbers and tomatoes during a late meal, as they take a very long time to digest.
But the main thing in proper nutrition is not only to eat low-calorie and healthy foods, but also to limit their quantity. And so that hunger does not torment at the same time, it is important to eat a little, but often. As snacks, you can offer your husband yogurt, fruits, nuts, low-fat cheese, kefir, vegetable smoothie.
