Moreover, they are simple, they can be used at home and without the use of filters. It is only important to remember that distilled water contains not only harmful substances, but it is also capable of washing salt out of the human body.

Step 1
One of the options for distilling water is settling. Take tap water in a container of any size. The main thing is that they are open. Leave the water for 1-2 hours if you want to get rid of chlorine and hydrogen sulfide. After 6 hours, impurities and salts of heavy metals will settle. The ideal time for that method of water purification is a day. Not all of this water needs to be used: the sediment remaining at the bottom is better to drain later.
Step 2
You can purify water by evaporating it. This procedure is more time consuming. First, you need to infuse water during the day. Then pour it into a large saucepan on the stove top. When the water boils, place a pot with a smaller diameter in it. Cover this structure with a lid. The water will boil, its vapors will collect first on the lid of the pan, and then this purified water will drip into a smaller pan.
Step 3
Distilled water can also be obtained by freezing. To do this, pour water into a 1.5 liter plastic bottle. Place it in the freezer. When the water is half turned into ice, take out the bottle and drain the unfrozen water from there: it contains all the unnecessary impurities. Leave the ice bottle to stand at room temperature. When the ice is completely liquid, this purified water can be drunk.
