A light vegetable salad with avocado and savory dressing is what you need for a summer lunch, dinner or snack.
Ingredients for Summer Salad:
- 2 hard tomatoes;
- 1 avocado;
- 100 grams of Mozzarella cheese;
- 1/2 blue onion;
- a little basil;
- a bunch of lettuce;
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds.
- salt if desired.
Ingredients needed to prepare the dressing:
- 15 grams of mustard;
- 90 ml of olive oil;
- 40 grams of liquid honey;
- 50 grams of lemon juice.
Cooking a light salad with avocado:
1. Tomatoes should be washed and cut into medium-sized pieces with a sharp knife. It is important that the pieces retain their shape and do not fall apart.
2. Peel the blue onion, wash in cold water and cut into thin half rings.
3. Wash the avocado, cut and remove the pit. Peel and cut the halves into approximately the same pieces as the tomatoes.
4. Combine all products in a salad bowl and add the washed and torn lettuce leaves. Also add some small basil leaves.
5. Top with mozzarella. The cheese balls can be cut into 4 pieces. Stir the salad.
6. To prepare the dressing in a separate bowl, carefully mix the lemon juice, olive oil, mustard and honey.
7. Salt a little, mix and pour over the prepared dressing.
8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
