This cake is exactly the case when you can create a real masterpiece from the most ordinary ingredients!
It is necessary
- - wheat flour - 3 tbsp.;
- - fresh or frozen cherries - 3 tbsp.;
- - chicken eggs - 10 pcs.;
- - cocoa powder - 8 tablespoons:
- - granulated sugar - 2 glasses;
- - baking soda - 2 tsp;
- - sour cream - 2 glasses;
- - semi-sweet red wine (any);
- - butter for greasing the mold;
- - chocolate chips for decoration.
- For butter cream:
- - butter - 450 g;
- - condensed milk - 2 cans.
Instructions
Step 1
If you are using fresh cherries, remove the seeds carefully so as not to crush the berries. Place the cherries in a jar and pour over the semisweet wine so that the berries are completely covered. Cover tightly and leave on the table for 24 hours.
Step 2
Grease a sufficiently high and spacious dish with oil, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Step 3
Sift flour with cocoa.
Step 4
Beat eggs with a mixer until foamy with added sugar. Then add flour, soda, sour cream to the egg mixture. Whisk everything quickly but thoroughly. Pour into mold and place in oven. After 25 minutes, check the biscuit for readiness by piercing it with a wooden stick. If it comes out dry, the baked goods are ready.
Step 5
Cut the completely cooled cake into two parts and remove the middle from each, making baskets with a wall thickness of about 2 cm. Cut the middle of the biscuit into small pieces and transfer to a bowl.
Step 6
For the cream, just beat the softened butter with condensed milk until smooth. Leave a little of the cream to decorate the finished cake, and add the rest to the pieces of biscuit in a bowl. Add cherries to it as well, also setting aside some for garnish.
Step 7
Fill the cakes with the mixture and stack one on top of the other. Decorate the cake with the remaining cherries and cream, sprinkle with chocolate shavings if desired and refrigerate until serving.
