Quite often, you want to diversify a festive meal with some new, original salad. In this case, the "Turtle Shell" appetizer is suitable, made in the form of a flaky combination of unusual ingredients.
It is necessary
- Smoked chicken breast - 1 pc.;
- Smoked sausage cheese - 300 g;
- Apples - 3 pcs.;
- Walnuts - 50-100 g;
- Mayonnaise - 1 can;
- Boiled egg - 1 pc. for registration.
Instructions
Step 1
Chicken breast is chopped into small cubes of about 0.5 cm. Sausage cheese is also chopped, it is better to buy it from proven brands, since a poor-quality product can greatly spoil the taste of the salad.
Step 2
It is preferable to use sweet apples, they are cut into the same small cubes. You do not need to mix the ingredients, since the salad is flaky.
Step 3
Walnuts are chopped, this is done with a knife or rolling pin.
Step 4
When all the ingredients are chopped, you can proceed directly to the preparation of the salad. All chopped food is laid out in a salad bowl in layers in the following order:
• smoked chicken;
• sausage cheese;
• apples.
Then the layers are repeated in the same order until the ingredients run out. Each layer is coated with mayonnaise.
Step 5
The top of the salad is sprinkled with nuts - this is the turtle shell. Optionally, the appetizer can be supplemented by completing the image of a turtle. To do this, a boiled egg is made in the form of her head, the eyes are made with the help of a clove. In the role of legs, not chopped walnuts are used. It is advisable to put the salad in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving it for soaking.
