Last year, our holiday table was more vegetarian, as the rooster prefers plant foods, and there was practically no meat on the table. But our feathered friend cured his own and was replaced by a dog who is not averse to feasting on meat. So this year we can please ourselves with our favorite meat dishes, and at the same time appease the yellow earthy symbol of the coming year.

Step 1

Let's start with appetizers and salads. First, keep in mind that the dog is happy to accept one-time handouts. So do not overload the table with huge portions of salads and snacks, serve them in tartlets - they have a neutral taste, so you can put any appetizer in them, and the size is suitable to send the entire portion into your mouth at once.

This year, make unusual treats to delight the guests and hostess of the next year. Here's an example: a vinaigrette with boiled sausage.

To prepare an unusual salad, you will need: 200 g of dense boiled sausage; 3 boiled potatoes in their uniforms; medium-sized boiled carrot; 3 pickled or pickled cucumbers; 100 g canned peas; white onion; one boiled beetroot and Provencal mayonnaise.

While the potatoes, beets and carrots are boiling, you have time to chop the onion, cucumber and sausage. Since you will serve the vinaigrette in tartlets, you need to cut all the ingredients into small cubes. When all the ingredients are combined, season them with mayonnaise and let the salad stand for about an hour. You need to lay out the salad on tartlets only before serving! Don't forget to decorate it with greenery.

The second on the list in the New Year's menu will be the Royal orange salad.

New Year is a real royal holiday: a large table filled with various dishes; people in bright and beautiful outfits; decorations and lights are everywhere!

So the royal salad will fit perfectly here, and it consists of: an orange, a chicken egg (it is better to replace it with five quail eggs), cloves of garlic, 150 g of crab meat (if you don’t find it, you can replace it with chopsticks), 100 g of sweet corn and 3 tablespoons spoons of sour cream.

While you are peeling and dicing the orange and crab meat, you should boil your eggs (egg) during this time. Open a can of corn and drain all the liquid from it, crush the garlic with a press (the common people call it a garlic press). Remove the shell of the egg (s) and chop finely with a knife. Now lay the salad in a dry bowl or salad bowl: first there is crab meat, after it - corn, then - oranges with eggs. Before pouring sour cream on the salad, dilute the crushed garlic in it. So the second salad is ready!

Walk like that, walk! Add another awesome salad to your appetizers: Tongue Salad. This is a real delight! Tasting this magical snack will give you the impression that you are at a banquet in a restaurant. List of products for the salad: 300 g of veal tongue, a large carrot, 2 heads of white onions (not bitter), olive oil, 4 pickled cucumbers (can be replaced with pickles), mayonnaise and 4 green onion feathers.

The tongue is cooked for about an hour. When it's ready, peel it of the film and chop it into strips. Onions with carrots are sautéed as for soups / borscht, but here the onion should not be chopped, but cut into half rings. But the cucumbers need to be finely chopped; after that, lay them on a straw from the tongue. Put the sautéed vegetables on the parchment so that the oil stays on it and does not get into the salad, this is important. Then place the vegetables on top of the cucumbers; season the salad with mayonnaise and garnish with chives.

And, of course, where can we go without hot snacks ?! Although salads are with meat, it is also necessary to please yourself with hot ones. To feed delicious food and treat your guests at the same time, the snack option is ideal for you: Buns with julienne. For them you need: a pound of mushrooms, 2 onions, 40 g of premium wheat flour, olive oil (for frying), hard cheese, 300 g of sour cream, 8 small crispy buns.

You can bake buns yourself for this marvelous snack, but ready-made baked goods will save you a lot of time, which is so little for cooking and table setting.

Cut the onion into strips and fry a little to become transparent. Add chopped mushrooms to it (you can also chop them into strips) and fry everything until tender. Sprinkle the onion with mushrooms with flour and slowly add sour cream to them. This gives you a delicious julienne. Cut off the tops of the buns and remove the crumb; fill empty buns with julienne and sprinkle with grated cheese. Then put the tops back in place. Now spread the julienne buns on a baking sheet and put them in the oven at 200 degrees for no more than 5-7 minutes! During this time, the cheese will have time to melt, and we don't need more, because the dish is already ready. So, the cheese has melted, so you can take the snack out of the oven and serve it!
