Water filters have long ceased to be a luxury and have become essential items.
There are three main types of filters for water purification: jug-type filters, filters that are put on the tap (nozzles) and stationary filters.
Jug filters
Such filters for water purification are quite inexpensive, and not at the expense of the quality of purification. They are convenient to use, both at home and in the country, even just on vacation, since they do not even require a water supply. Thanks to the variety of models of jug-type filters, they fit well into any kitchen interior.
However, this method of water purification will require replaceable filters - cassettes. Not a problem. Water filter manufacturers have taken care of this. Moreover, replaceable filters are different. That is, depending on the type of water (hardness, quality) or the desired cleaning effect (antibacterial, with saturation with trace elements such as iodine and fluorine). The water in such a filter will be cleaned quickly enough, at a rate equal to about one glass per minute.
If you decide to choose a jug-type filter for water purification, remember the basic rule: a replaceable filter must be changed on time! Otherwise, the result of the filter will be nullified. Detailed instructions on when exactly to change the filter are indicated on the filter itself, but on average, one cartridge is enough for 350 liters, that is, for a family of 3-4 people for about a month.
Filters - nozzles
A faster, more powerful and more expensive option is filters for water purification in the form of nozzles on the faucet (or connected to the faucet with a hose). Such filters will purify water even better, there will be a little less trouble with them than with pitchers. In addition, they are available in two types, some will be connected to the tap permanently, others will need to be connected only for the duration of water purification. Don't worry if you own a faucet of an exclusive design, there are tons of specially designed adapters that allow you to use filter attachments for any faucet.
Stationary filter
The most expensive option is a stationary water filter. Such a filter is connected directly to the water supply. Moreover, you yourself are free to decide where the filter housing will be located: on the sink or hidden under it, with the output of an additional tap. This creates an additional opportunity to use separately untreated water, for example, for washing dishes, and filtered water for cooking and drinking. Another plus of such a filtration system is that it does not require replaceable filters. Caring for stationary filters for water purification consists in periodic washing with a special solution.
