Step 1

First, rinse the tomatoes thoroughly, then let them dry or wipe them dry with a clean kitchen towel. Then, using a knife, make a cruciform incision at the end of each fruit. By the way, it is best to pickle tomatoes in a bag with small ones, since it takes more time to pickle large tomatoes.

Step 2

Then cut the stalks of each tomato and make small oblique cuts in the cut area. In this form, place the vegetables in a prepared cellophane bag.

Chop hot peppers together with peeled garlic cloves into small enough pieces. Put finely chopped vegetables in a plastic bag with the tomatoes. Then add the following ingredients there: dry garlic umbrellas, granulated sugar, and coarse salt.

Step 4

Tie the plastic bag with vegetables tightly and shake well several times. This must be done so that the salt and sugar are evenly distributed. After this procedure, place the tomatoes in another similar bag. Leave them as they are at room temperature.

Step 5

After the passage of the day, you can take a sample from the vegetables. If you want them to acquire a richer taste, then leave them in the same state for another 1 or 2 days. Lightly salted tomatoes, cooked in a bag, are ready!
