Do not throw in onion peels, they are not only good for coloring eggs. In its broth, you can cook delicious bacon. Take a cup of onion peels, pour 1 liter of cold water, add 2 tablespoons of salt, bay leaves, pepper and other spices to taste. Place a piece of lard in the brine, bring to a boil and cook until the lard is tender. Leave in the broth until completely cooled. Remove the product from the brine, dry, roll (optional) in red pepper, crushed garlic and put in the refrigerator. Also, a decoction of onion peels can be used to strengthen hair. Gardeners use it to control pests of vegetable crops.

Banana peels can also come in handy. Dried and powdered, it is a valuable fertilizer for indoor and garden flowers. With banana peels, you can add shine to the skin by walking the inside of the shoe over and then rubbing it with a woolen cloth.

Citrus peels must be dried and ground in a coffee grinder, you get a food flavoring that can be added to jelly, compotes, baked goods. Vodka infused with orange peel is an excellent anti-fever remedy. Pomegranate peel decoction is an effective remedy for diarrhea.

Eggshells are a valuable source of calcium. White eggshells can be dried, crushed into powder, mixed with 2-3 drops of lemon juice and given to children suffering from diathesis. Egg water is used to clean silver and cupronickel cutlery. In eggshells, seedlings of cucumbers are grown.
