  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste

The technology of cooking rice salad with red pepper

Wash the red bell peppers, cut in half and remove the seeds, and then bake on the grill or in the oven at 250 degrees Celsius until a light crust forms. Then it should be cut into checkers (that is, into 1.5 - 1.5 cm squares, approximately or at will).

The mass of rice, which is indicated in the recipe, is the mass of the finished product - boiled and chilled. Rice should be boiled, adhering to easy rules. Rinse the required amount of rice thoroughly under cold running water, put in a saucepan, pour in water, add a little salt and put on high heat. When boiling, reduce heat to minimum and close tightly with a lid. Cook until the water has completely evaporated, check no more than 2-3 times during the entire cooking time.

Put all prepared foods in a salad bowl, add vinegar, salt and pepper, and then mix. Serve in a salad bowl, garnish with lettuce leaves.
