Nobody should refuse to celebrate Maslenitsa! Even those who follow their figure. The main traditional dish of the holiday is pancakes, which cannot be called a dietary treat. However, pancakes that will not harm your figure are not a myth, but a reality. So how do you prepare them?

Step 1
Let's start by choosing flour. We obviously shouldn't give up the wheat of the first grade - it gives the pancakes a special taste and tenderness. However, it should be diluted with another flour, coarser and healthier. The proportions of the mixture for the dough - 1: 1.
Step 2
Skim milk should be chosen. It can also be replaced with kefir, however, its fat content should also not exceed 1.5 percent. Little secret: to "dilute" the fat and density of milk, add a little sparkling water to it. This will also make the pancakes more fluffy and tender.
Step 3
Do not use whole eggs, as the yolk contains cholesterol, which is known to clog blood vessels and is bad for the heart and shape. Therefore, leave only the proteins. If you do not want to use eggs at all, mash a half of a banana - its effect will be as "grasping" for the dough as eggs.
Step 4
Fry the pancakes with a little oil.

Use fresh berries and fruits, fat-free sour cream as a filling. You can add delicious condiments that are known for their fat-burning and metabolic-boosting properties, such as cinnamon.
