Oatmeal porridgeFrom steamed uncrushed oatmeal, viscous porridge, pureed soups and puddings are cooked. Non-crushed groats are distinguished by the duration of cooking, to accelerate the cooking, they are pre-soaked in cold water for 1, 5-2 hours. After soaking, the cereals are first thrown onto a sieve, and then boiled for about 2 hours. In order to cook porridge, oatmeal prepared in this way must be poured into boiling water and brought to a boil. Remove the saucepan from heat, close the lid tightly and leave for 2-3 hours for the cereal to swell. Then put the cereal in a colander or sieve. As soon as the water drains, transfer the cereals to boiling milk, add salt and cook over low heat, stirring until thick, add oil, raisins and dried apricots to the prepared hot porridge.
Step 2
Porridge from oat flakes "Hercules" Oat flakes "Hercules" are produced from non-crushed oat kernels of the highest grade. These are oat grains flattened after steaming, peeled from the shell and dried. In boiling milk (you can mix it in half with water), add salt, sugar, add oatmeal and cook, stirring occasionally, at low boil for 15-20 minutes. Season the thickened porridge with butter and stir. Arrange the hot porridge on plates and add the banana cut into rings. Oatmeal can be served hot or cold, adding sugar, jam, berries, milk to taste.
