Despite the apparent complexity, roses from apples and puff pastry are easy to prepare, but they turn out to be so delicious that you will lick your fingers. Try it, you won't regret it!
It is necessary
- Puff pastry - 0.5 kg;
- Apples with dense pulp - 3-4 pcs.;
- Berry jam or honey - 3 tbsp spoons;
- Warm water - 1, 5 - 2 tbsp.;
- Lemon - 0.5 pcs.;
- Flour - a handful;
- Cinnamon - to taste;
- Powdered sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
Take the dough out of the package, put it on a floured table. Leave to defrost for 15-20 minutes.
Step 2
Peel the apples with a sharp knife, cut them in half and peel off the center. Cut into very thin half rings - up to 1.5-2 mm thick.
Step 3
Pour all the water into a cup and add the juice squeezed from half a lemon. Mix. Dip apples into the resulting syrup. This will help them acquire a pleasant sourness and not turn black in the future.
Step 4
Place a plate of apples in the microwave for 4 minutes to soften. As soon as the fruit begins to bend easily in the hands without breaking, they should be taken out.
Step 5
Next, you need to drain the liquid through a colander and let the apples cool. Then blot them a little with a cotton towel or paper towels.
Step 6
Put jam in a cup, add 1 tbsp. spoon of water, mix until smooth.
Step 7
Roll out the dough into a thin layer and cut into 12 strips. Grease the middle of each strip with a little jam. Place a few apple slices on top of it and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Step 8
Fold one flat cake in half, then roll. Moisten the tip well with water and fix it so that the rosette does not unfold during baking. Do the same with the rest of the cakes.
Step 9
Gently transfer the roses to silicone molds and place in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. After 30 minutes, cover them with foil and move them from the middle shelf of the oven to the lower one. Bake for another 15 minutes.
Step 10
