It is necessary

  • - 20 g of liquid honey;
  • - 2 pcs. sweet red apples;
  • - 2 pcs. green apples;
  • - 500 ml of water;
  • - 250 g of sugar;
  • - 1 fresh lemon;
  • - 1 stick of cinnamon;
  • - 500 g of puff yeast-free dough;
  • - 40 g of butter;
  • - 20 g of icing sugar.

Instructions

Step 1

Wash and dry the apples well, cut them in half and remove the seeds and core. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut them into thin slices. Some people prefer apples without the peel.

Step 2

Make sweet syrup. Put water on the stove, when it boils, gradually add to it: sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice. When the mixture is smooth, remove and cool.

Step 3

Dip the apples into the still warm syrup and put them back on the stove. Cook apples in syrup for 3-5 minutes. Take out the apples and let them dry a little.

Step 4

Roll out the puff pastry very thinly and cut into small strips 3-4 cm wide. Sprinkle the dough with a little flour and powdered sugar and lay out the apple slices so that one slice overlaps the other. Carefully roll the strip into a rose shape and lay it on a sheet. Brush the roses with ghee and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Ready-made roses can be poured with honey and powdered.
