Beets are a common vegetable, but no less useful. It has diuretic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic properties. It is useful to eat it with low hemoglobin. The easiest and most enjoyable way to eat this vegetable is with salads based on it. One of the most popular combinations is boiled beetroot with walnuts.

- 1 beet
- 2 carrots
- 2 pickled cucumbers
- 50 gr walnuts
- 1 leek
- 50 gr mayonnaise
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the beets and carrots well under cold water. Without peeling them off, put them in boiling water for 30-40 minutes.
Step 2
Peel chilled beets and carrots. Then grate on a coarse grater. Place the chopped vegetables in a deep bowl.
Step 3
Cut the cucumbers into small cubes. Pour them into a bowl with the beets and carrots. Add leeks (only the white part of it) to the same place.
Step 4
Finely chop the peeled walnuts with a knife. Pour them into the salad. Season the dish with mayonnaise. Now you can serve the treat to the table.
